of all the voices of me, all the trains: inner-critic, inner-child, inner-wild-woman, inner-any-human-ness...
of all the moods, personalities that arise,
is there one that is most me,
most true to my authentic being?
or is it only in the fleeting moments when
for a breath
something outside of these
bears witness to them
there is the collective sigh
i am none of these
or maybe just all of them...smiles. and if they would all stop talking at once....

Interesting, philosophical sort of poem. Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteIt takes many different ingredients to bake a cake. Different ingredients in different amounts mean no two cakes are exactly the same.
ReplyDeleteNice One Shot!
Very well done and most of the time, most of us dont know ourselves too... the biggest question has always been "Who am I" through out the ages and this is a spiritual quest for most of us in Hindu Spiritual explorations...
